Teaching Toddlers to do Household Chores

I never set out to give my toddlers chores to do. You might be thinking, "That's too young! Toddlers can't do chores!" That's what I thought too, that is until I was constantly tripping over my boys while trying to do my own household chores.

Let's face it, toddlers want to help mom, even when mom doesn't want or need help. But what better way to teach your toddlers to do chores than letting them help mom?

Do you believe that it is your job as a parent to have control over your children? Do you find yourself trying to control your children in the ways your parents tried to control you, or in the ways you learned from siblings, friends or relatives? Do you hope that through yelling, threatening, shaming, blaming, judging, demanding, spanking, nagging, lecturing, explaining, arguing, and so on, you will get them to do what you want them to do? Is it working?

Most of us do not like to be controlled, and children are no exception. While they may comply in certain areas to avoid punishment, they will likely resist in other areas.

Parenting means the special things that is completely for the child or children, especially the care, love, and guidance. Parenting is the way of raising and educating a child from delivery to maturity level. It is normally done by the teenager’s family or the teens parents. Parenting is the way for the change of life.

Are you tired of listening to your children bicker? Do you long for them to get along and love each other? Sibling rivalry can be exasperating, often interfering with our ability to enjoy our children. It may be helpful to know though that sibling rivalry has been going on forever. Some degree of fighting is perfectly normal. It exists in every family that has two or more children, so take comfort in knowing you are not alone. Some siblings get along fairly well, while others fight constantly.
